Fighting through: persistence. It is a high quality. It is continuous effort on a given course . It is energy applied toward progress. It is "keepin' on keepin' on" for those of us of a certain vintage. It is all these things, aligned with achieving a future goal. It is courage

These qualities are on display in the towns of the Florida Panhandle! The people there, whose homes have been decimated, whose jobs have been wiped out, still are strong and moving forward! They are setting a quiet, but brilliant example of fighting through. The Mayors and City Managers continue to pull their people together and as a team they go out and tackle the cleanup of devastation and loss wrought by the powerful Hurricane Michael. The Faith leaders and their communities have also been active since day one, providing succor both spiritual and practical.

All of these are a true strength. They are creating their future to be bright.

While the major media has failed to cover this scene, they are missing the real story of America, the real story of human kind. The true nature of man is to survive and here we can see this daily in the cleaning up of the past and the creation of the future. In the Florida Panhandle, the leaders and citizens are setting a very good example of survival! In this way, influence and help to a wider and wider area will unfold.

So even if one falters for a moment, or even for a while, one can rise. Rise and continue:
